Building Engines Release Notes – March 31, 2017
Vendor Portal
Feature Enhancement
Redesigned Vendor Portal
The Vendor portal now has the same new grid-based interface that property management employees have been using since last year. This redesign makes it easier for vendors to sort, filter, share, and manage tasks.
To help ensure a smooth transition, Vendors will see a pop-up the next time they log into Building Engines with a link to our new Vendor Quick Start guide.
The Quick Start guide and an updated the Vendor User Guide can be found in the Support Center.
Employee Application
Feature Enhancement
Additional data points on COIs
Managing COIs is easier when the information you need is where you need it. In addition to the Building and Company name, with this release the COI page now also shows the Building Code, Head Property Manager (with contact info), and Tenant or Vendor ID.
Feature Enhancement
Add Notes and Files after a COI has been approved
If you are using a COI approval workflow, no changes can be made to an Approved COI without restarting the approval process. This remains true for coverage data and most parts of the COI, but it is now possible to update the Internal Notes field and upload additional files without requiring a new approval.
FIXED
Employee Application
- Inspections - Improved scoring for Inspections with non-required questions.
- Incidents - now accepts MPEG video files with the .mov file extension
- Accounting Batches – Improved load times for large batch files.
