- Feature Enhancements: Document Management –
- Document Folders – Authorized Property Management users may now create folders and sub-folders to visually organize and store documents. Folders are added at the portfolio level for consistency across buildings. Documents move easily between folders by dragging and dropping. Multiple documents may be uploaded to a single folder in a single action
- Folder Access Control – Restrict access to sensitive documents, by controlling exactly who can see and who can edit folders and documents in folders
- Document Tagging – Easily add multiple descriptive tags to describe documents and for easy search and access
- Enhanced Document Search – Search across all folders by keyword including Document Name, File Name or tags
- Document Sharing – Check off one or more documents and share them via email. Choose contacts with accounts in the application, or manually enter additional email addresses
- Shortcut Documents – Newly created shortcut folders provide quick links to documents managed in other Building Engines modules such as COI, Contracts, Leases and other Tenant/Vendor documents. Documents may be viewed or shared from these folders.
- Feature Enhancement: Certificates of Insurance –
- Edit Compliance – Property Management users may now override the compliance status of a Certificate of Insurance. This option may be used to override Compliance rules, or to mark a certificate as non-compliant when no rules are in place. Option available on all COI’s under the ACTIONS dropdown [NOTE – Option unavailable when using a COI Approval workflow]
- Tenant-Vendor – All COI’s of type VENDOR may now be updated to include an associated tenant company. Contacts from the associated tenant company will be notified of certificate expiration. Both companies are clearly visible from the COI Dashboard grid. Associate a tenant company to an existing vendor COI by expanding and editing the details area
- Feature Enhancement: New User Account Activation –
- Send Welcome Email – We’ve improved the Account Activation email message sent to newly created users and extended it to all account types (Employee, Tenant and Vendor Employee). Welcome emails may be sent immediately when a new account is added, or at a later date via a new bulk action on all user search pages
- Last Login – The last login date of each user is now listed on their account page and is also visible as a column on all user search pages so you can easily see whether a user has ever logged in or how long ago they last accessed the system. A welcome email may be sent at any time to a user who has never before logged into the application
- Automatic Password Generation – When creating new user accounts, a unique password will now be automatically generated for the user. Users can select their own password by clicking through a link in their Welcome Email
- Username Visibility – Username is now clearly displayed at the top of every user account page
- Feature Enhancement: Incident Tracking – A PDF Summary of each incident will now be automatically included as an attachment on all incident notifications to provide better information and context to any non-system users being notified
- Feature Enhancement: Tenant Management – A bulk action has been added to the tenant employee search page for inactivating users

- Feature Enhancement: New User Account Activation –
- Send Welcome Email – Tenant Administrators creating new accounts may now select to send a Welcome Email to the newly added user. The email includes a link for the user to choose their password and access the application

- Inspections - Photos on completed inspections can now be downloaded
- Recurring Work Order – Scheduling a recurring work order with a Quarterly or Annual frequency and no end date will now properly save

Property Removal Pass – The link to view Property Removal Passes has been added to the tenant homepage in the Modern template
