The Welcome Email provides new tenant employees with an activation link to view their username and set a new password to access Building Engines.
When launching Building Engines to all tenants for the first time, or activating a single account for a new tenant, a Property Management administrator sends a system generated Welcome Email (how to send a Welcome Email) in addition to any custom Broadcast Message introducing Building Engines (sample tenant announcement letter).
After Property Management sends the Welcome Email, tenants receive the following email message:
After clicking Activate, an Account Activation page opens within the tenant's default web browser:
If the tenant has already logged into the system or previously clicked the activation link, the following error page will display:
