Employee Application

NEW Feature: Universal Building/Task Search – Have you ever looked for a building by its street address only to find out it’s saved under a different name? Our new Universal Building/Task Search is here to help. Now available in the New Look navigation bar, this powerful tool allows you to search for and quickly navigate to a building, work order, PM task or incident from any page in the application. Searching for a building? Begin typing a building name, code, street address, city, state or zip to see all possible matches. Click through to view the building’s profile page where you’ll find key contacts, summary data and quick links to take other actions. Searching for a specific task? No problem! Just select which type of task you’re looking for, and enter the exact request ID to navigate directly there. No more unnecessary clicking just to get where you need to go. The universal search tool will remember your preferred type of search so you don’t have to think, just search and go.

NEW Feature: Building Profile and Search – Do you wish you had a single, centralized location to see key, building contacts AND get a high level summary of building performance? If so, our brand new Building Profile page is exactly what you’ve been looking for. Quickly navigate to any building’s profile from anywhere in the application using our new Universal Building Search. Prefer to see a full list of your properties? Check out our brand new Building List page (available under the Go To menu), where you’ll find an easily exportable view of all of your properties. Simply click on any building to view its profile. Building Profile features include:

  • Store key building contacts such as Head Property Manager and Chief of Engineering
  • See usage data across all system modules at a glance
  • Use action links for easy access to additional building details or to submit requests
  • Building info visible to all users, but editable by administrative users only

NEW Feature: Search Criteria Summary – Have you ever minimized a search page and re-open it later only to realize you’ve completely forgotten what you’re looking at? Avoid these confused moments in the future with our new Search Criteria Summary. Available across all search pages in the new look, you’ll now see a written summary of all currently applied search criteria. Still not sure what you’re looking at? Click on the search criteria summary to open the search box and see more detail. Prefer to save the space? Turn off the search summary with a simple click on the X.

NEW Building Engines New Look Preview, Continued!

This month, our New Look preview expands to include the following pages:

  • Reporting
  • Employee Admin

To check out the new updates, click the “New Look” button in the navigation bar. For now, you may switch the preview on or off at any time. When the new look is completed, we will permanently retire the old view. Stay tuned for updates each month.

Feature Enhancement: Accounting IntegrationDouble Billing Check – For buildings using our Accounting Integration feature, we will now alert you if you attempt to batch a work order that has previously been included in another accounting batch. If your batch contains a potential double billing, you’ll see a pop up warning upon pressing save. You can choose to view the potentially conflicting work orders, or ignore the warning and create your batch. We’ll give you all the information you need to make the correct choice for your situation.

Feature Enhancement: Resource Scheduling – “End Now” for In-Progress Events – Property Management users may now select to end a Resource Scheduling event already in progress. Simply click on the event to view it, and press the new End Now button to immediately update the end date/time to the next available increment. Please note that full day events may only be ended at the nearest full day. This option is not available to tenant users.

Feature Enhancement: Purchase OrderMark All Inventory Received – For buildings using our Inventory based Purchase Order feature, we’ve added a new, convenient option for quickly marking ordered inventory as fully received. Simply check off the materials that were received in full, and click our brand new Mark Received button to immediately update the quantity received to equal the quantity ordered. Receiving inventory has never been easier!

Employee Application

NEW LOOK – A big thank you to all of our users who have opted into our New Look preview and helped us locate any areas in need of fine tuning. Your feedback has been heard, and the following items have been fixed

  • Inspections – The count for New/Open inspections from the At-A-Glance Dashboard has been updated to accurately link to New/Not Started/Pending inspections, not just critical inspections
  • PM – Meter types can now be added in the new look
  • Recurring Work Orders– The assignee list when creating a recurring work order will now only contain assignees from the selected building
  • Recurring Work Orders – Scheduled and recurring work orders will now be saved with the correct, specified time across all time zones
  • Dashboard – Cancelling a work order will no longer increment the dashboard HOLD count for the building
  • Dashboard – The first building listed on the dashboard will no longer be cut out of view
  • Certificates of Insurance – Documents uploaded while renewing a certificate will now be correctly attached
  • Tenant Admin – Editing a tenant company will no longer zero out saved square footage for their suite
  • Tenant Admin – Documents attached to a tenant company profile can now be deleted
  • Tenant Admin – Reactivate and Delete buttons are now available when viewing inactive tenant companies
  • Work Order – Self Reported work orders will no longer insert the name of the currently logged in user in place of the name of the requestor
  • Accounting – Materials with a $0 value may now be added to work orders and PM tasks

OTHER ITEMS

  • Purchase Order – HTML will be correctly stripped from Purchase Order details when printing
  • Resource Scheduling – Hourly rates can once again be created from the View/Edit Resource page
  • Certificates of Insurance – Selecting an insurer will now correctly populate A.M. Best ratings when a minimum rating is specified

Building Connect/Tenant Application

  • Visitor Control – Visitor time will now be saved correctly for recurring visitors
