- How does Bengie work?
- Any tenant who knows how to send a text message can use Bengie! Bengie works just like a member of your property management team. Tenants send messages to Bengie through text messaging just as they would any other person. Bengie understands what they want and asks for the information needed so Bengie can start a request such as a work order, visitor pre-clearance, or downloading building information. Bengie then uses the Building Engines platform to create tasks and initiate workflows and keeps everyone in the loop.

- How does permissioning work in Bengie?
- Property management staff control which users have permission to perform specific actions such as work order submission. Those same permissions apply across the tenant web portal, the Hive mobile app and Bengie, so a tenant user will only be able to submit work orders in Bengie if they can already submit work orders in other channels.
- Will this create additional work for property managers?
- No! Bengie should actually reduce work because Bengie is so easy to use that it will increase tenant self-service and reduce low-value phone, email and other manual, person-to-person communication such as following up on the status of a work order.
